Hi guys!

I'm back from Croatia :)
Sometimes summer can be boring, yes I know...and I want to work! lol Here in Belgium,we don't have "Summer Reading" like American students (Is it the same in the UK?).During the school year,we just read 1 or 2 books! I think it's sad because reading is really interesting and rewarding.I was on the "A To Z" teachers forum and an English/Journalism teacher in Virginia sent me a private message. She gave me her website. There are some interesting homeworks and advices.I really want to try to read a book from the list, anwser the questions and making an essay.I'm sure it'll be hard because English is my sencond language.
What do you think of that? Is it a good way to improve my English?
PS: I know that Ryan uses this method to learn French and Japanese, what do you think Ray?

Well, I personally love this method - but it does get hard at times. I believe that the issue comes from trying to think out your thoughts and then placing it on paper. I have a tendency to second guess myself along with not knowing all of a language's set of idioms.

But, nevertheless, its still a good way of practicing. Also, if you'd like, you could always post your work here for the English speakers to edit.

Good Luck Caroline!
