I've gotten a new French book, kind of old so perhaps a few words are different from how they are now, but mainly it's been helping me with translating conversations to and from french, something I haven't had alot of practice in. Language Podcasts and Audio Lessons

I'm a big fan of using podcasts and audio lessons (such as the Pimsleur language sets) to study. As of right now Pimsleur and FSI French are the main ways that I hear French on a daily basis along with various podcasts from time to time to sort of reinforce what I'm learning. I'm planning to increase the amount of times that I listen to podcasts by finding more opportunities to pull them out, so I'm wondering if anyone else makes good use of such things. Today I've learned....

l'ile the island eau water ajourd'hui today apprendre learn mot word cheveaux hair a and à and á? are all different. Though I can't understand for the life of me why. I haven't been studying today but figured it'd be a good idea if I write down new, easy words I've learned. Hrm. I can't figure out how to say "Words I've learned today" in French. My town is really small- less than 2,000 people. Its in Maryland, US, and my school has less than 300 people. I have decided to learn French because I do ballet, and it would be easier to understand if I knew French. Also, I only know English now, and will have to take Spanish class next year, but I don't like Spanish. ;) Continue
