- I live in California up in a cabin in the mountains, where we have three cats and a rabbit. Joey, Junior, Sasha, and the rabbit is Voldemort. Our yard is often full of turkeys, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and once a coyote.
I'm a huge geek and love video games, art, creative writing, roleplaying, and did I mention video games? I run a Neverwinter Nights 2 Roleplaying server. Which is basically like D&D, only in a video game. I've been teaching myself French for a few months and my boyfriend from Belgium has been helping me as well. I'm a slow learner when it comes to new languages, took 2 years of Japanese and failed, but reading and writing French has really helped. My dad's side of the family is French Canadian and so I learned a little French from them as they all speak it.
Would like to bring my boyfriend here as well, and hopefully learn alot :)

Today I've learned....

a and à and á? are all different. Though I can't understand for the life of me why.
I haven't been studying today but figured it'd be a good idea if I write down new, easy words I've learned.
Hrm.
I can't figure out how to say "Words I've learned today" in French. The order of words when not simple like "this object is so and so" or "so and so is doing this"

Hello. I'm moving to Belgium, after college, with some friends. French is hard for me. I can read (and write it), but only a little of both) but not speak it.

My little sister's like japanese: she knows how to say: "mom", "sister", "brother" and "fast". She's good learning languages!
